Gerina-Piller

She was conceived on March 29, 1985, in Roswell near New Mexico. Gerina Michelle Mendoza was her birth name. Gerina Stevenson's parents were Mexican Alan Stevenson & Rita Stevenson. She is American and is of Mexican American heritage. From a young age the desire for her to be involved in sports was evident. Gerina began to play golf at the age of 15 years old. Gerina graduated from high school education at Goddard High School. When she was a student in high school she won at the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. As well as playing volleyball, she also competed at an official level. She attended an institution called the University of Texas in 2003. As a senior, she won each tournament which she participated in. While in her undergrad years, she was awarded Conference USA's individual player of year as well as UTEP Female Athletic of the Year.
